History
In 1996, I lived in Evanston IL. in an apartment above a luggage store. The building had been rebuilt many times throughout the years. The apartment was a catacomb of rooms, many of which we were not allowed to enter. Some of those rooms led directly to the store below, but others seemingly had no ‘other side’. On a rainy fall day, a roommate and I decided to find out where those doors led. After finding a few dead ends, we examined the door in the back of a bedroom closet. Upon pushing the taped closed door open, we found a 16×22 room that none of us knew existed. When is the last time you found extra rooms in your apartment? After some drywall, carpet, heating and electrical wiring, I turned this into the first recording room for Narnia Productions. Although we’ve come a long way since then, this was a great place to start.
This is the first song we recorded there. Thanks to Rebecca Carlish and Colby Beserra.
